Recipe Ingredients

Seedless raisins
1 1/2 c
Water

Slightly beaten egg
1 c
Brown sugar
2 tb
Salad oil
1 tb
Grated orange peel
2 1/2 c
Sifted all purpose
Flour
1 ts
Salt
2 ts
Baking powder
1/2 ts
Soda
Directions
Combine raisins and water; bring to boiling. Cool to room
temperature. Mix next 4 ingredients. Stir in raisin mixture. Sift
together dry ingredients; add, beating well. Pour into greased 8.5 x
4.5 x 2.5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees about 60 minutes or till
done.
