Cooking Recipe Coconut Macaroons

Recipe Ingredients

2 Egg whites
1/8 ts Salt
3/4 c Sugar
4 oz Coconut
1/8 ts Cream of tartar
1 ts Vanilla or almond extract

Directions

Beat the egg whites, salt, cream of tartar and flavoring until soft
peaks form. Add sugar & beat until stiff. Fold in the coconut. Cover
a cookie sheet with plain paper. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoon
about 1" apart. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 300 F. Cool slightly
before removing from the pan.
