Cooking Recipe Company Ham

Recipe Ingredients

1 ea 5-6 LB PRECOOKED HAM, BONELE
1 ea LARGE ONION, CHOPPED
2 ea APPLES, CORED AND SLICED THI
1/2 ts THYME
1/2 ts CINNAMON
1/2 ts MARJORAM
6 ea CLOVES
10 ea PEPPERCORNS
1/2 c SHERRY
1/2 c BEEF BROTH
Plac e onion and apple slices in the bottom of a dutch oven.
Spri nkle with half of the thyme, cinnamon, and marjoram and all
of t he cloves and peppercorns. Place ham on top and rub
rema ining spices into the surface. Pour sherry over ham. Place
unco vered in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours.
Bast e frequently with beef broth and pan juices. Cover for the
fina l 30 minutes of baking. Allow to rest for 30 minutes before
slic ing.
