Cooking Recipe Country-Style Sauerkraut & Sausages

Recipe Ingredients

8 Sausages,brown & serve,1"
1 cn Sauerkraut,Bavarian(16oz)
1 Egg,beaten
2 1/2 c Potatoes,mashed,prepared
1 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb Brown sugar
2 tb Onion,grated

Directions

1. Brown sausages in butter over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes, turning
frequently.
2. Stir in sauerkraut and brown sugar; warm through.
3. Pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole; set aside.
4. Add egg and onion to mashed potatoes; stir well.
5. Spread potato mixture over sauerkraut; bake in preheated 350'F.
oven, uncovered, 25 minutes.
