Cracklings
Directions
Add flour, corn-meal, sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, and milk. Add
cracklings. Beat thoroughly. Bake in well-oiled shallow pan in hot
oven (450ø F) about 20 minutes, or drop by teaspoonfuls on a hot
well-oiled griddle. Fry until golden brown. 6 servings. Virginia
