Cooking Recipe Open-Faced Chicken Sandwiches

Recipe Ingredients

2 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb All-purpose flour
1 c Milk
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts White pepper

2 oz Shredded cheddar cheese
1 Pound sliced cooked chicken
4 sl Sandwich bread, toasted
8 sl Bacon, cooked, drained,
And crumbled
1/4 c Grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring
until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add
milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and
bubbly. Add salt, pepper, and Cheddar cheese, stirring until cheese
melts.Place chicken on toast, and cover with sauce. Sprinkle with
